Origin of the objectives ROMCHIL FOUNDATION
The ROSE-MADELEINE CHIMÈNE LAITANG (ROMCHIL) Foundation is a non-profit private institution that aims to preserve the memory of the immortal Rose- Madeleine Chimène J. Laitang, who, at the age of 67, suffered from breast cancer that, in spite of everything that the medicine could give her, and her powerful and continuous oncology therapy, the disease ended with her life. The Rose-Madeleine Chimène Laitang (ROMCHIL) Foundation is an independent institution founded on November 26th, 2016, with the purpose of contributing to the prevention and awareness against breast cancer.
Why Rose-Madeleine Chimène Laitang? The Foundation has its name by virtue of her five sons’ consent who decided to preserve and keep alive her memory, charity and humanitarian spirit of Rose-Madeleine Chimène Laitang, in so much as she was a kind and understanding mother. Furthermore, she had the main humanitarian values and principles such as, charity, compassion, mercy, impartiality and dignity, according to the need of providing the humanitarian aid and assistance to the most vulnerable people.
For that purpose, the Foundation has an area of innovation, education and access to evaluation and measurement of projects and social activities.
Our approaches are based on the different scientific aspects that make us give you a more comprehensive care while increasing the level of oncology services. To that end, we plan on improving the methods of the offered services to the national and international levels, being consolidated in the long term in order to be a social support referent for all the people who suffer from breast cancer as well as some other types of cancer. These are the elements that motivated her family and a group of professional friends with a service spirit to commit themselves with this magnificent job of founding this institution.
The main objective of the institution is complement its mission, promote the prevention of the breast cancer as well as other types of cancer through the campaign and awareness for cancer. With these elements, a collective social performance and education could be executed for the lowest economic resources.
Mission
The main objective of the Rose-Madeleine C. Laitang Foundation is to fight against the cancer in the whole world though the education, prevention, early detection and complementary therapeutic measures and additional alternatives to all patients that are in an advanced phase of the disease or are terminally ill, and mainly, to vulnerable patients or with lack of limited financial resources.

To be an organization that will help and contribute to largely reduce the amount of death people due to cancer in the world. The main purpose is to reach to an optimal level and operating core to favor the scientific research insertions through the global accompaniment. The scientific investigation is the only necessary strategic and valid tool to carry out the comprehensive collective action for the scientific empowerment in the fight against the cancer.
